Temperament

Lyra is a dog that enjoys working and playing. She can be found with a toy at almost all times. She loves to be underfoot in the kitchen and sleep with her family. She enjoys antagonizing her feline brother and playing with the neighboring dogs. She is active but easily controllable with a steady off-switch. Lyra tested well for both confidence and work drive during her temperament testing. We are excited to see how this girl tests out. Pending results of her Health Clearances will determine if Lyra stays a part of our breeding program.

Lyra resides with her Guardian Family in Boone, Iowa. They love having her as a house dog where she is spoiled and loved very much.

Structure

Lyra is a goofy, fun loving gal that is friendly and enjoys playing all day long. Known for her ability to make you laugh upon the first meeting you will fall in love with her traditional Labrador Retriever temperament. She has developed an attractive, blocky head and framing ears that make her a standard representation of the English style. She loves to go for walks around the neighborhood and snuggle up with her favorite toy. Height: 21 inches.
